Jesus on Earth

It is often a bone of contention among people to say Jesus was God made flesh, so of course He could do miracles. Or Jesus is God, you are not, therefore you can’t justify what you do by saying Jesus did.

Lets talk about this for a minute. Yes. He, upon this Earth, was fully God, and Fully Man. But He also had to operate in this world as One or the Other. His mission was to fulfill the Law,(otherwise known as keeping Man’s portion of the Covenant.) Now, if He were to fulfill it as God, it would have rendered the entire thing Void. A Covenant with God had conditions to be kept: God would be their God, as long as Man did X, Y, and Z. And even when Man failed to keep their part of the covenant, God kept His.

So the God part of this Covenant was upheld. The Man part was not. To take care of this issue and resolve the dilemma, Jesus came down. He came to fulfill Man’s part of this deal. Only a Man could fulfill man’s part.

Now then, Often, people decide to start on the ridiculous arguments. Oh, so you’re saying He laid aside His divinity to come here? Nope. Nope I’m not. But not a single time in scriptures can you find Him acting on earth as God until you get to the stuff that’s still to come. Revelation is an excellent book to read on the subject. However. I’m going to prove to you, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that He ONLY operated as a MAN here in this world.

And then I shall leave you to ponder it. Because no further argument or debate is needed.

John 5:18-20

Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
